[Mitkc-announce] Oasis Public Review of SAML Kerberos Specification

Dear MIT Kerberos supporters,

Below is an announcement for a 60-day public review of a couple of SAML-Kerberos documents in Oasis.

These two documents are part of the solution to the larger Kerberos Web-Browser SSO problem, and represent an important component of the Kerberos-on-the-Web (Kerb-Web) initiative at the MIT-KC.

We would appreciate your review and feedback on these two docs.

The OASIS Security Services TC has recently approved the following specifications as a Committee Drafts and approved them for public review:

SAML V2.0 Kerberos Subject Confirmation Method Version 1.0 SAML V2.0 Kerberos Attribute Profile Version 1.0

The public review starts today, 28 January 2010, and ends 29 March 2010. This is an open invitation to comment. We strongly encourage feedback from potential users, developers and others, whether OASIS members or not, for the sake of improving the interoperability and quality of OASIS work. We also welcome interested parties to join the TC as it continues to further development of its specifications. Please feel free to distribute this announcement within your organization and to other appropriate mail lists.
