Subject: SOCIAL JUSTICE 101 WORKSHOP SUNDAY! 2-4p
To: Jordan Clark <jordaneclark at gmail.com>, coach at mit.edu

The Progressive Student Alliance, NBSA and NUSTAND will be hosting...

An *interactive workshop* on the importance of organizing for social justice
this Sunday! The workshop will be led by the executive director of the
Massachusetts chapter of Jobs with Justice, Russ Davis.
The workshop will be on *Sunday, October 18th, from 2:00pm-4:00pm in 346
Curry Student Center.*

We will be discussing the basics of grassroots organizing, the principles of
social justice, the importance of student action and involvement.

This workshop is going to be a great opportunity, especially for students
who want to learn more about how to make a difference locally in Boston and
nationally. Come and bring a friend!

Jobs with Justice is a national campaign that has worked to further the
cause of workers’ rights by creating a network of local coalitions that
connect labor, faith-based, community, and student organizations to work
together on workplace and community social justice campaigns. For further
information on Jobs with Justice, visit their website at Jobs with
Justice<http://www.massjwj.net>
