Dear Jehanzeb,
I am writing from a solicitors firm in London, UK. We have a Pakistani client who has been the victim of domestic violence at the hands of her husband.
She has applied for asylum in the United Kingdom. Her initial application has been refused by the Home Office, however we are appealing this decision.
We are in the process of collating evidence that Domestic Violence is real threat to women in Pakistan and were hoping that you would be able to point us in the right direction to find evidence that such is happening in Pakistan.
Web pages or journal articles that can be accessed on the internet would be very useful. Thank you very much for your kind assistance.
Regards,
