1. Artsactive.net's vision statement
 
It is desirable to increase the presence of artists in scientific and 
entrepreneurial contexts, and the presence of scientists and 
entrepreneurs in artistic contexts to:
 
- develop new sources of innovation and creativity within science and 
technology;
- change the context and the direction of science and technology (social 
embedding)
- disseminate the fruits of science into society at large;
- integrate artists into scientific and innovative teams and industry 
contexts;
- encourage knowledge transfer and professional development.
 
2. Aims
 
- Exchange of lessons learned, practices and methodologies, for 
operation and evaluation of collaborations in science and industry R and 
D settings.
- Share information with a wider public.
- Stimulate joint projects, shared web and other publications, and 
advocacy.
- Open up discourses about information, progress, ethics, social impact.
- Encourage international collaborations for funding potentials.
  
3. Members of the network
 
The network is a semi-formal network with no legal or corporate 
existence. The network meets virtually, but will meet physically at 
least once a year hosted by one of its members. Membership is by 
invitation only. If you run a program that falls within the ArtsActive 
goals and are interested in being invited to join the network, please
