Dipali Trivedi<https://indianewengland.com/dipali-trivedi-mit-entrepreneur-on-a-mission-to-bring-more-women-executives-and-founders-to-the-boardroom/>, who earned both her Masters of Engineering and MBA degrees from MIT, has made it her mission to bring more women executives and founders to the boardroom.

Three MIT faculty launched the Future Founders Initiative<https://news.mit.edu/2021/future-founders-initiative-aims-increase-female-entrepreneurship-biotech-0224> in 2020 to increase the number of female faculty members who start biotechnology companies; two years later, nine finalists in the MIT Future Founders Initiative Prize Competition gained hands-on mentoring in how to commercialize their ideas.

Fallon Sherrock has been the only woman<https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/05/sports/fallon-sherrock-us-darts-masters.html> to regularly beat men at the biggest events in darts; she started competitive darts as a teenager and last fall became the first woman to make the final of a men’s tour event.

When: July 27 – 28th, 2022

Details: This virtual two-day conference hosted by Northeastern University and Harvard Medical School is for postdoctoral fellows and advanced graduate students interested in faculty careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Health Sciences, and Social Sciences and Humanities.
