*3. Join the GSC Path of Professorship Planning Team!*
Hello Graduate Women of MIT,

This fall, the Office of Graduate Education will host the 7th annual Path of
Professorship Workshop. The event is designed to provide graduate and
post-doctoral women with information about academic scientific careers and
the application process.

The entire workshop will be held on the MIT campus at the MIT Media Lab and
Faculty Club, and runs from Friday afternoon on October 28nd until 5:15pm
Saturday, Oct 29th.

A tentative agenda of this year's workshop for your reference as well as
pictures from last year's workshop can be found through the following
website:

We are looking for graduate women to join our planning team. A commitment
would entail approximately 3 hours per week in September and early October.
Acceptance to the workshop is guaranteed for those women on the planning
team!

This is a great opportunity to learn about the process to becoming a
professor and meet other graduate women looking to do the same. If you are
interested in joining the team or have any further questions, please email
samok at mit.edu.

Thanks! Sam
