Wocky -- Email list for Jabber Pilot Project

About Wocky
English (USA)

This email list was for communicating information on the Jabber Pilot Project for Instant Messaging. This IS&T project began in May 2005. The purpose is to make an alternative IM client available, to incoming students, that supports the jabber protocol and possibly the commonly used AIM, YIM and Zephyr protocols. In addition it will make Kerberos-authenticated Jabber IM infrastructure available using an MIT run Jabber server.

The Jabber service is now in production.
