Dne-l -- Dance New England On_Line Discussions

About Dne-l
English (USA)

Welcome!

DNE-L is one of two Dance New England general discussions list.

Once you become a member of the DNE-L, any mail sent to the DNE-L@mit.edu will come to your mail box. When you send mail to DNE-L@mit.edu you are sending mail to many people (over 150).

If you "reply-to" mail sent via DNE-L you will be replying *only* to the person who posted the message you are replying to. To respect private emails, please avoid posting off-line email back to the list.

DNE-L is not a moderated email list. People in community are encouraged to be respectful, even in disagreement.

Pause before you send your email if you are upset.

Use your delete button if you are tired of the topic.

Write something positive if you feel the tone of the list has gone negative.

In short, write as if you are in the same room as your fellow DNE'ers, and we'll get along famously!

http://www.dne.org/dancedirectory/ is an updated list of all the dances you would find at the end of the DNE directory.

All of the Dance New England business files, minutes, committee reports and general information can be found under the "business" subdirectory of the dne.org web site. It, and other useful links for managing your List mail is posted at the end of every DNE-L email you receive.

If you'd like to subscribe to DNE-Community (sign up at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/dne-community ) where the talk is centering around an-NVC style of communication, or to DNE-GOV where the topic is limited to DNE business.
Again, welcome!
