Hi Aran,

This page may help: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/insider_wintp-insider_store/disable-windows-10-store-using-group-policy/112bc642-8d78-42e0-9416-4f46d45deacd?auth=1

It describes Group Policy settings to disable the Windows Store app (this can be local policy or domain-based GPO). Note that this will only work on Win10 Enterprise or Education.

Good luck,

Subject: [WinPartners] Win 10 pro - can't stop the bloat

Dear WinPartners,

Can you share your experience stopping a pre-installed win10 pro machine from continually adding and re-adding bloatware that I repeatedly have to uninstall?

I’ve been googling around and reading and following a few different sites advice but every time I turn around Bubble Witch 3 Saga, Candy Crush Soda Saga, Disney Magic Kingdoms, March of Empires: War of Lords, X-Box live and others keep re-adding themselves. Not just to the start menu, but they turn up under Apps & features!

Please help me find the magical checkbox that instructs the OS to only install software that I prompt it to install… or did I miss that setting when I was checking out from the Dell store?

I should note that I have 2 different admin accounts on the machine, it seems that win 10 forgets these settings from one account to the next, which I find kind of baffling… and a little desperate.

TIA!
Aran
