[WinPartners] IS&T Announces Release of CertAid 2.0 for Internet Explorer

Good afternoon,

Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) is pleased to announce CertAid 2.0 for Internet Explorer. This is an updated version of the MIT Certificate Tool, giving users a more reliable installation experience.

The setup procedure includes installing the MIT CA (Certificate Authority) as well as the user's personal certificate, optionally deleting old certificates, and setting the correct Internet options for Internet Explorer via a single, graphical application.

CertAid 2.0 for Internet Explorer requires that .NET 4.0 or higher, available via Windows Update, be installed on your machine. Always make sure your operating system is up to date by running Windows Update before installing CertAid or any other software.

Who Should Use It
IS&T recommends that anyone installing or updating certificates with Internet Explorer on Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 should use CertAid 2.0  for Internet Explorer.
