[WinPartners] IS&T Recommends Upgrading to Internet Explorer 9, Will End Support for Internet Explorer 7

Good morning,

In June 2011, Information Services and Technology (IS&T) announced support for Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) on machines running Vista and Windows 7.

IS&T recommends that Vista and Windows 7 users upgrade to IE9 and that Windows XP users upgrade to Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) for better performance, integration, and compatibility.

To streamline support and minimize the cost of testing and developing web-based applications, IS&T will focus on IE9 and IE8 and will end support for Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) on August 31, 2011.
