[WinPartners] FW: Scan64.exe and McShield.exe using up all CPU

I think it may be caused by Adobe software that my co-worker is distributing... seems like Adobe Acrobat and Reader are receiving a patch, so that may be what's causing it. There is a setup.exe running in the background, and earlier this morning I got a message in the notification area saying that new software was ready to install.

Subject: [WinPartners] Scan64.exe and McShield.exe using up all CPU

Has anyone seen Scan64.exe and/or McShield.exe on Windows 7 use up most of the CPU, and if so, knows how to make it not do this? I have Patch 4 of Virusscan 8.7i. It did this yesterday and I had to walk away from computer because it was virtually unusable.

Eduardo
