Good Afternoon,

Information Services and Technology (IS&T) is pleased to announce the
release of new iPassConnect clients -- version 2.39 for Mac OS X and version

3.6 for Windows.

iPassConnect is a fee-based remote connection service for faculty and staff
who are traveling outside the Cambridge/Boston area and need to connect to
the Internet and to MITnet.

The iPassConnect Release Team is creating a best-practices document for the
MIT community about different remote connectivity options (e.g., free Wi-Fi
hotspots, home Internet service provider, iPassConnect, etc.). The document
will be posted on the Web later this summer at
http://itinfo.mit.edu/product.php?name=ipass.
