The Computing Help Desk of Information Services & Technology (IS&T) is
pleased to announce first- and second-tier support for win.mit.edu domain
users and container administrators.

About win.mit.edu
------------------

win.mit.edu domain is a centrally managed Windows environment for the MIT
campus. It offers opportunities for greater efficiency and collaboration
across the Institute via a common set of services, data, and tools.

The domain is integrated with Kerberos, the Moira database, and MIT's
standard DNS namespace. It is also suitable for use by all departments,
labs, centers, and administrative offices.

Getting Help
------------------

Users of the win.mit.edu domain are encouraged to contact their container
administrator before contacting the IS&T Computing Help Desk. Once engaged,
the Help Desk will assist container administrators in resolving first- and
second-tier questions and problems.  

If needed, Help Desk staff will determine the correct escalation path for
further support and assistance.
