[WinPartners] has anyone experienced this problem with Thunderbird on windows ?

I am wondering if anyone has experienced this problem and resolved it?
I use Thunderbird for my email program. When I start it up everything
is fine and I can see the contents in any of my subfolders. But after a
short amount of time (5-10 minutes), suddenly I am NOT able to see the
contents in any subfolder, even though I can continue accessing email in
my inbox. I then must close the app, and restart it, enter password,
wait for all my subfolders to load, and continue from there. It's a pain.
This is a consistent problem, it never fails. And it is not a folder
subscription problem (all my subfolders are subscribed to)
And, this problem only occurs on my windows machine (it works fine on my
unix box)
Has anyone seen this problem? If yes, have you managed to resolve it?
