[WinPartners] SAPgui 7.10 for Windows Release Project KickoffAnnouncement

Good Afternoon,

      Information Services and Technology is pleased to announce that a
project to release SAPgui 7.10 for Windows to the MIT community has
begun.  IS&T expects to have an installer for SAPgui 7.10 for Windows
available to the MIT community this fall, once testing has been completed.

      SAPgui 7.10 for Windows will become the recommended version of the
SAPgui for Vista users sometime in 2007 in conjunction with the planned
release of Vista.  

      There are no significant new features introduced with this SAPgui
version other than support for Vista. However, SAPgui 7.10 does contain
fixes for some bugs in the current version of the SAPgui 6.40 for Windows.

       If you have questions or suggestions, or would like to help test 
a pre-release version of SAPgui 7.10 for Windows, please contact the team
