[WinPartners] IAP Event: Preparing for Microsoft's Windows Vista and Office 2007

Members of the MIT Community,

 

Information Services and Technology (IS&T) is hosting an IAP event on
"Preparing for Microsoft's Windows Vista and Office 2007" on Tuesday,
January 23 from 1-2pm in W20-491. IS&T has worked with IT colleagues across
campus and at other schools to outline a phased release process and support
strategy for Windows Vista - Microsoft's latest operating system. I hope you
will join us to hear about the support strategy for these releases,
complexities related to transitioning to Vista, opportunities Vista provides
for MIT, and see a demo of Vista and Office 2007. Be sure to bring your
questions!

 

Please note that at this time, IS&T strongly recommends that community
members wait to upgrade to Vista and Office 2007 until your DLC is ready to
make the transition and support you.
