[WinPartners] Simple Document Tracking Solution

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone is using a really simple software package to 
electronically track, search and retrieve documents in a windows 
environment.
One record of information per document about 5 or 6 search able fields 
such as date, document name, source, type, comment with the ability to 
link the record a  file. The link once established should allow the user 
to display the document once the right record is found.
No need to; route , approve , countersign, count pages, search the 
content of the document and all the other bells and whistles.
I am not opposed to extras as long as they are not in the way and this 
is something that anyone who has installed a game can install or a 
service that is easy to connect to and use.

I think the above is pretty straight forward to program, but I thought I 
would ask before I start down that route.
