[WinPartners] TSM 5.4 Windows and Macintish Release Announcement

Good Afternoon.
Information Services and Technology is pleased to announce the release of
and support for Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) 5.4 for Windows and Macintosh.
Notable Features of TSM 5.4:
------------------------------------
- Support for Intel machines running Mac OS X.
- Support for Windows Vista, which will be useful for testers and early
adopters of Microsoft's new operating system. Windows Vista is not
recommended at this time. For IS&T's current Vista support statement, go to:

Who should upgrade:
--------------------------
Windows - Recommended for all Windows users running Windows 2003 Server, XP
Professional SP2.
Mac OS X - Recommended for all Macintosh users running Mac OS X 10.4 or
later on PowerPC or Intel machines.
Known Issues:
-----------------
* Windows - Help Menu support is not included by default within TSM on
Vista. For more information, refer to 'Known Issues' section on The TSM for
Windows 5.4 page:

* Macintosh - After starting up TSM and optionally viewing the TSM
Preferences (via the Edit/Preferences menu), you may see the message
"Unknown System error." upon exiting the Preferences editor. This is a known
error and you will have to restart the TSM client.
* Both Windows and Macintosh - For scheduled backups to occur, your computer
must be ON and not in sleep mode.
