[WinPartners] Help recovering an NT 4.0 Workstation?

Hello to all:

I have a machine running Win NT 4.0 Workstation producing a bluescreen on 
startup with the error saying it cannot find the winsrv.dll file.

Microsoft has a knowledgebase article discussing this, and having followed 
said article, I learned the registry is corrupt.   There is no known ERD.

Through a parallel install, I learned the winsrv.dll file does exist.

An attempt to perform a repair was fruitless - Windows could only see the 
parallel installation as the only partition containing a repairable 
version.

So, is there any [other] tool I can use to try and repair the registry and 
get this machine back on its feet with the original install?
