4. Volume & Site License Software Update

IS&T offers avenues for members of the MIT community to obtain a variety of
software under a volume license agreement.  For more information on software
available from VSLS, please visit:

5.  Windows Automatic Update Service (WAUS)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
IS&T recommends users configure their Windows machines to use MIT's Windows
Automatic Update Service (WAUS) for critical patches and service pack
deployment.

Important Note: 

Internet Explorer 7 will not be deployed by MIT WAUS (WSUS) until early
January, 2007. However, patches for Internet Explorer 7 will be deployed via
MIT WAUS. For additional information including instructions to configure
your machine for WAUS, please visit:
