You need to speak with Dell as I am unfamiliar with the specifics of this
hardware. When you mention a 'Reinstallation image' and a 'PXE server', is this
a custom implementation provided by Dell or something that integrates with
Windows RIS (and DHCP server)?
Where is the Promise card--the host server or the NAS unit? Not that I think
it'd make a difference.
How can you tell the PXE client comes up and transmits its MAC address? Is there
a display on the NAS or other indicator.
We also have Dell contacts for MIT which I'm sure could assist if server tech
support has not been able to resolve the issue. I don't have the info handy at
the moment, but look through the archives of this list or ask again.
