Subject: Secure CRT 4.1.2 Release Effort Underway Announcement 

Good Afternoon, 

I am pleased to announce that the Secure CRT 4.1.2 release effort has begun.
Secure CRT 4.1.2 is the latest version of Van Dyke's secure terminal
emulation program. 

Secure CRT allows users to securely connect to MIT (and other) servers using
the SSH2 protocol. This latest version of Secure CRT includes the ability to
authenticate with Kerberos 5 tickets.

New Features and Improvements to Secure CRT 4.1.2 include: 

-GSSAPI Support 
-Improved Integration with Secure FX 
-X11 forwarding: Encrypt X11 Windows sessions to secure remote X
applications that are being displayed on the local PC 
-Emacs mode: If you commonly use Emacs, you can configure your session to
use the ALT key as the meta key. 
-32,000-line scrollback 
-XTerm Emulation
