[WinPartners] Recommendations for external hd for backup use?

Maxtor one touch's come in a variety of sizes 120 200 240 etc
I believe they are mostly USB 2.0 by now.
They are OK. The one touch is simply a button that invokes a piece of
software. That software is a dumbed down backup program that comes with the
unit, but it's pretty dumb.
You can actually re-purpose the button to do just about anything, but you
had ought to get a better backup program if you want to automate backups.
The Maxtors come formatted as Fat 32, this could be a boon or a problem.
