MIT Information Systems is pleased to announce the release of FileZilla
2.1.9.

Who Should Download and Why
------------------------------
This latest version of FileZilla contains many new feature enhancements
and bugfixes. If you are running Windows XP, transfer files with long
filenames (>256 characters), or need SFTP support through the FileZilla
interface, then we advise you to upgrade to this latest version. 

Please note that a new version of Kerberos for Windows, KfW 2.5, is now
available.  While you are taking time to upgrade FileZilla, we recommend
that you also install KfW 2.5.  More information on KfW is available in
the KfW release announcement and the documentation mentioned below.


Notable Features and Bug Fixes
------------------------------
-Support for SFTP 
-Support for Windows XP 
-Kerberized connections now work behind Network Address Translation
(NAT) boxes when FileZilla is used with KfW 2.5
-Fixed crash with very long filenames (>256 chars) 
-Language was always reset to English if language page hasn't been views
if changing settings 
-fixed transfer of large files from/to GSS enabled servers 
-improved compatibility of directory listing parser, can now parse OS2
style directory listings
