The City of Somerville seeks an *Events Manager *for the Somerville Arts
Council.  This position is part of a vibrant, creative team that envisions
and produces creative programming throughout the City.  The employee will
is responsible for managing community, civic, and cultural events for the
City of Somerville and specifically for the Somerville Arts Council (SAC),
including coordinating Union Square’s ArtsUnion series, Street Art program,
 Fireworks, SomerStreets, and more.   This position requires broad
engagement with our diverse community.

*Hours:* Full Time.  Schedule requires flexibility for evening and weekend
work.

*Salary: *$61,200.00 per year plus benefits
