REF: MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL AND UPDATE
Dear Member of USITT New England Regional Section,
First of all, Happy New Year! We hope 2018 would be a year filled of
success and meaningful theatremaking! Here are some updates from USITT New
England.
Last year USITT New England was an active presence at KCACTF sponsoring
several workshops and the Thursday Breakfast. We also paired up with BMI
Supply and sponsored 4 of the festival’s winners with a $500 scholarship
each to attend USITT Annual Conference. In March we co-sponsored an LED
Lighting Shootout with High Output and Available Light. During the summer
we had our annual BBQ. We have other activities planned for the upcoming
year and would like your support to make them come to fruition. We
encourage all members to bring forward ideas of activities you would like
the New England regional Section to sponsor and if you would like to
promote a partnership please feel free to reach out to any the board
members or send us an email at office at usittnewengland.org
Our new website www.usittnewengland.org has become a useful source of
communication and it makes it easier for new members and existing members
to join. Our membership fees have remained the same for many years,
especially our student membership to encourage our younger community to
become a part of the organization. Please visit our page to renew your
