[Usittne] seeking Dance Costume Designer for Fall concert

Hello,

I am casting a wide net looking for applicants for Dance Costume Designer/
Costumer for our Fall Dance concert here at the Boston Conservatory at
Berklee. If you know of anyone who designs Dance costumes please have them
send their information to me for consideration. Thank you. A brief
description with dates is below

The Dance division has grown in size over the past few years. For Fall
semester we do a concert called "From The Ground Up". This year due to
enrollment there will be 7 pieces in the concert. 6 premieres by guest
choreographers and 1 modern ballet re-created by 2 faculty members.
The 6 premieres will be set upon the sophomores, juniors and seniors with
an estimated 130 dancers. The ballet will include about 12 students who
will also be counted in the other pieces.
The guest choreographers will be in Boston from October 1-13th to set the
dances on the students then rehearsal directors will rehearse the pieces
after they leave. The Costumer will need to meet with the choreographers in
early October and then again during the week of Oct. 8-12 to finalize
ideas. Due to the size of the concert and it being part of a season of
Theater, Dance and Opera this concert tends to be a purchase situation with
some minor builds by our costume shop.

The modern ballet will be a part of a class throughout the Fall semester. Dress
rehearsals are November 3rd-7th and performances start Nov. 8th.
