Please share, we have created a new position that serves at the Tech.
Director for our studio theater part of the time and as the lead technician
on our main stage for the remainder of the time.  Full job description

The Boston Conservatory seeks a highly skilled technician to serve as the
Zack Box Theater Technical Director and Main Stage Theater Lead Technician.
Responsible for the build, installation and load-out of all faculty,
resident artists and student projects in the Zack Box Theater (approx. 50
seat black box).  Acts as a supervisor for student and guest artist use of
the studio space, including scenic, lighting and sound installation.  Serve
as Master Carpenter/ Lead stage technician for Main Stage events; this may
include carpentry, lighting, audio, and video.  May work as Staff
Representative for Rentals, music events, technical/ dress rehearsals and
performances as needed in both venues.  Requirements: BA degree, excellent
communication and team collaboration skills, experience with hanging/
focusing lighting instruments, minor rigging, and construction/
installation of scenery. Familiarity with AutoCad or Vectorworks, ETC
Smartfade light board or similar, working knowledge of general audio
equipment and basic knowledge of lighting maintenance is helpful.  Prior
work with students or volunteers in theater or performing arts environment
is preferred. Individual must possess a valid Driver’s License, must be
able to work independently, climb ladders up to 20 feet, and able to lift
objects of up to 40 lbs.  Full time Academic year position with
