Technical Director - North Shore Music Theatre, a regional theatre in the round, north of Boston, seeks a motivated, experienced Technical Director to lead our Scene Shop. Candidates should possess at least of 3 years experience and formal theatrical scenery construction training at a graduate level or equivalent professional experience. Excellent leadership, communication, budgeting, and time management skills are ideal for work in a fast paced, challenging & collaborative environment. Experience with arena rigging & stage mechanics including pneumatics, hydraulics, and winch rigging is a plus.  Responsibilities include advancing and executing scenery construction for 5 show musical theatre season, directing the timely completion, and installation of all scenic elements for NSMT productions, coordinating the smooth flow of information and scheduling between all technical departments. This position starts mid September and runs to early January with the option to continue next season. This is position is full-time, seasonal (April-January). Salary is commensurate with experience.
