1. Duron is no longer manufactured by the Masonite Corp.
2. Masonite is the trade name for Hardboard (HDF) which is more dense than
MDF (medium density fiberboard) My opinion is that MDF is not too bad for
show decks, but will not hold up as a permanent stage covering. Se if you
can find a supplier for Oil tempered Hardboard up there in North country.
That is what Duron was.
