[Usittne] Nominations

Hi everyone,

In a little over two weeks we will be holding the USITT NE meeting at the conference in Ft. Worth.
This year there are two leadership positions being vacated which means we will hold elections for 2-3 positions during the annual meeting.


The positons are:

	1. Regional Chair
	2. Treasurer
	3. Clerk/ Secretary


Regional Chair- leads the group at the annual meeting, is in contact with KCACTF about participation in the region 1 conference, works with StageSource to co sponsor the annual 	job fair, and files activity reports with USITT National.  

Treasurer-  The treasurer or clear needs to file reports with the Commonwealth of Mass and USITT that include financial information. 

Clerk/ Secretary-  The main job of the clerk is to receive official notices from the Commonwealth of Mass.  The clerk must be a Massachusetts resident.

Note: the Treasurer and Clerk/Secretary may be held by the same person.	

Ron Dallas (the present Treasurer/Clerk/Secretary) is relocating outside the region this summer, but has generously offered to advise the incoming Treasurer and Clerk about the procedure for keeping the organization on the books.

I encourage anyone interested in these positions to self nominate ASAP so that we can get your information out to the membership.  
If you have been disappointed with the amount of activity the group has sponsored in the past, this is your chance to make a positive change.
