Dear USITT-NE,

The Theatre Department of Boston College seeks to hire a part time master carpenter. The position will begin early September and extend through the end of the academic year.

Desired qualities: Safe working habits, professional scenic construction techniques, layout skills, basic rigging, patience while training student carpenters, positive attitude, creative problem solving skills; MIGwelding a plus. Safety is a major goal in this shop.

The ideal candidate will have three years experience in a theatrical scene shop.
