hi clyde- I made one for CLOC many years ago and it has probably
disappeared since then and is not in the attic. But it is real easy to make with
two pieces of 1x2 about 18"long and a yard and a half remnant of old heavy
patterned upholstery/tapestry fabric [I used a rusty rosy red]. Cut off a two
inch strip to use as a handle later and then simply fold the fabric ends
over the 1x2's staple on/ fold wood to wood/ put some stuffing inside/screw
the two 1x2s together/ stitch or glue the sides up/ use two strips of fabric
folded over and staple as handles to the 1x2s. get a handy student to put
one together and I'll use it for MUSIC MAN this summer...see you in 6
weeks. John

Hi all,
At Falmouth Academy we're presenting "Around the world in 80 Days" in
early May.
At least the play version (as well as the original novel) does not include
the balloon or the
bullfight that Mike Todd added for the film.
But we do need a carpetbag. Does anyone have a carpetbag in their prop
collection that we can borrow?
We're in Falmouth. MA.
Thanks
Clyde Tyndale
