*Beyond Entertainment - Arts District Master Planning*

There are those sensational arts districts of the world and those 
simpler venues located on Main Street America. Whether located within a 
grand urban framework like the Wells Fargo Cultural Campus in Charlotte, 
the village crossroads or on a college quadrangle, these arts districts 
all provide opportunities for typically under-represented interests to 
find strength by working together. Enjoy a lively discussion as we 
explore the similarities and differences in planning both professionally 
based arts projects and those within academic settings, utilizing case 
studies of the Wells Fargo Cultural Campus, Emerson College, and other 
Colleges and Universities.

    * Learn the trends on college campuses and in your community for
      planning arts districts and the valuable assets and positive
      impacts that come with them
    * Learn about the types of partnerships, teaming and fundraising
      considerations required to execute arts masterplans into reality
    * Study the history and process of the Wells Fargo Cultural District
      in Charlotte as a model for community economic development
    * Discuss the impact of construction cost, operations and management
      of these complex facilities that invariably impact the bottom line
