Assistant Professor of Set Design
MFA required; university teaching and designing required; professional set
design experience required; TV, film, digital, and/or video design
experience preferred; able to design for black box and proscenium theaters.
Teach general Theatre courses (i.e. Introduction to Theatre) and specialized
courses (i.e. Designing for the Stage); oversee Practicum, Independent
Study, Internships; design and paint sets and props; recruit and oversee
design guest artists; summer and intersession design; develop design
curriculum; advise students; serve on departmental and university
committees; and community outreach.
Send current vita, teaching philosophy statement, documentation of teaching
