[Usittne] Orchestra Pit Covers

Getting back to the original question....The only OSHA rule I know of
(or find in a quick search of their web site), standard #1910, "Walking
and working surfaces," specifically excludes " the exposed perimeters of
entertainment stage, rail station platforms."
If there's a new rule, or interpretation, I'd love to hear about it.
That said, building code railing requirements may give local authorities
a basis to ask for nets. As may venue insurers. Or any of us, given a
reasonable assessment of civil liabilities.
Happy New Year, everybody.
