dimming shutter or a DMX Iris

I'm doing some LCD projections in a show and thinking I'll probably need
a couple of dowsers. They don't show up readily on a quick internet
search (for me). I remember seeing some make-your-own directions - maybe
at USITT. Does anybody have a line on make/borrow/rent/buyifIhaveto a
couple of projector dowsers?

Hope it was a great show in Houston.
