[Usittne] Atmospheric Effects for the Stage Workshop

Colleagues -

The Department of Theatre at the University of Vermont is pleased to 
announce a workshop on Atmospheric Effects for the Stage.  We are 
pleased to welcome Karl Ruling, ESTA’s* Technical Standards Manager, to 
conduct this presentation on the safe and effective use of fog, smoke 
and haze in theatrical production.  Karl presented “Clearing the Air 
About Fog” at last springs USITT conference in Toronto.

I have attached a flyer with further details.  I would point out that 
we are asking for a small fee ($50 - 75) PER INSTITUTION to cover the 
expenses of bringing Karl to Burlington.  Depending on attendance, the 
fee may be less than $50 - I will contact the interested groups once I 
have an idea of how many groups will be attending.

I hope you will read the attached flyer and consider joining us on 
Saturday, November 19 for what I am sure will prove to be a most 
interesting and informative presentation.
