We use Boston Light and Sound. They are a good group that will work with
what you have within your budget.

Subject: [Usittne] Sound Consultant question
Dear List,
this was covered some months ago, and I did not save
the e-mails...
I need to convert a blown mono sound system in an
auditorium (proscenium stage, 500 seat house, no
booth) into a stereo one - basically, a new install
(with some of our own equipment remaining.) Could
people recommend Sound consultants and companies they
used in the past (or even present) whom I might
contact? I would prefer local consultants, but in a
pinch will expand outside of NE. I received one bid
from people who mainly do churches, so a person
familiar with theatre would be a plus...
Thank you so much.
