PROFESSIONAL STAFF POSITIONS

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Saint Michael's Playhouse is an Equity summer theater with fully equipped,
air-conditioned, 366-seat, proscenium theater on college campus. BIG RIVER,
STONES IN HIS POCKETS, BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS, LOVE/PERFECT/CHANGE. Two week
build per production.  Responsibilities include prep plans, spec material,
work within budgets, supervise ATD, Master Carpenter, shop intern staff. TD
will begin in advance of rest of staff. Mid May - early August.

ASSISTANT TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

build per production.  Responsibilities include managing scene shop,
construction, training of staff. Duties include daytime work and the
possibility of evening crew. ATD begins in advance of rest of staff. Mid May

PAINT CHARGE

build per production.  Paint Charge works closely with Scenic Designer,
Technical Director and Property Master. Late May - early August.

PROPERTY MASTER
Saint Michael's Playhouse is an Equity summer theater with fully equipped,

build per production.  Property Master works closely with Directors, Scenic
Designers and TD. Duties include procuring and/or building props,
supervising at least one intern, possibility of evening crew. Late May -

COSTUME SHOP SUPERVISOR
Saint Michael's Playhouse is an Equity summer theater with fully equipped,

build per production.  Must possess extensive knowledge of costume
construction, and strong organizational skills. Duties include managing
shop, building, shopping, maintaining costumes, supervising and training

with high level of previously acquired skills in scenic construction and
installation.  Duties will include daytime work crews and evening running

BIG RIVER and LOVE/PERFECT/CHANGE. Design sound for STONES IN HIS POCKETS
and BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS. Acquired sound design and implementation
expertise necessary. Daytime work in departments other than sound as needed.
Board operator at all performances. Contract June 4 - August 14. Application

ACTOR/TICKET SALES REP
Saint Michael's Playhouse Summer Internship Program position. SMP is a
professional Equity CORST theater with a fully equipped, air-conditioned,
366-seat, proscenium theater on college campus. These interns will be cast
in the SMP equity musical production of BIG RIVER as non-equity actors, will
be cast in the non-equity Playhouse Children's Theater productions and will
work as Box Office staff while not rehearsing and/or performing.  Candidates
must have high level of performance abilities and previously acquired
customer service and administrative skills. All Actor/Ticket Sales Rep
Interns will have the opportunity to join Equity Membership Candidacy
Program. Contract from June 4 - August 14. Application at
