Tech Olympics
New Annual Event at ACTF
Sponsored by the New England Section of the United States Institute for Theater Technology.
 
The Tech Olympics will be held on Saturday, January 31st, 2004, of the American College Theater Festival in Rhode Island.
Events will include:
1.      Hanging and focus of a lighting instrument
2.      Drive a nail into wood
3.      Knot tying:  Bowline and clove hitch
4.      Prop table set up
5.      Fast costume change
6.      sewing a snap
 
Winners will be determined by their speed, accuracy and care 
The prize is an award certificate and 50 dollars. 
 
Eligibility:  Any college or university student interested in the performing arts and registered to attend ACTF.
 
Students may register on site.
