Hi all,
Jack Nardi, Technical Director at the University of Connecticut, has contacted me about a unique opportunity.
U-Conn is producing "A Christmas Carol" with puppets, live music and some very interesting rigging and special effects.
Jack has offered to provide a backstage tour following the show on Saturday, the 22nd, which is a 2 PM matinee. (Ending time around 4 or 4:30 depending on running time.)
This is a great learning opportunity for those interested in rigging to come and learn about the problem solving process of this difficult show. All are welcome and students are particularly encouraged to attend.

Please RSVP me right away if you are interested in this opportunity. (tiala at mindspring.com) I will try to get a head count. Let me know also if you are interested in seeing the show first before the tour and how many will attend. I will try to arrange a deal on ticket prices but will need an accurate head count. Tickets are selling very fast so it is important that we get an idea of attendees by this Wednesday, November 12th. It is not necessary that you see the show so also let me know if you want the tour without seeing the show first.

Hope to hear from many of you.
Crystal

PS: U-Conn is located in Storrs, CT about 30 minutes Northeast of Hartford. It is a 90 minute drive from Boston.
