[Usittne] Harvard College Seeks Stage Technicians and Lighting Designer

Harvard College Theatre Programs will soon be seeking a full-time 
Production Supervisor/ Associate Technical Director. In the meantime, we 
are looking for between two and four individuals (depending on skills sets 
and availability) to serve the following functions:

- A stage technician / lighting designer for the Dance Program. This 
person will supervise nine dance productions in the Reiman Center (home of 
the Office for the Arts Dance Program); design lights for four of these 
productions; advise the staff of all shows on matters of design, 
production values, and stage management; work with the Technical Director 
for College Theatre Programs (TDCTP) to maintain the dance center 
equipment.

- A stage technician for the Agassiz Theatre who will maintain safe 
working conditions at a number of strikes and load-ins from February 
through May and assist the TDCTP in maintaining the space, with occasional 
support for productions in College spaces other than Agassiz.

- A consulting theatre technician to advise and ensure the safety of two 
large campus productions in February and March with focus on stage 
rigging, although all aspects of production are involved.

The ability to work well with undergraduates is very important to all of 
these roles.

address functions outlined above.


We have specific productions that require support, while we have some 
flexibility about how that support is provided. Creative combinations of 
the positions are quite possible. Compensation appropriate to experience.
