Hi shekhar,
Good to know that the list is back in operation, but somewhere along the line I seem to have been lost. I tried to log in and was given a message that no subscription existed with my address. I thought I had signed on.
can you check on this at your leisure? thanks, and happy new year!

For much of the past year our web site for the workshop
http://bombayology.net has been offline as I moved servers. Even after
it came back online, links to our vast archive of PDFs of articles,
books and documents were broken as I moved things around.
I have now restored access to all linked media on the site, and you're
welcome to download everything. When you click on links to any
restricted content, enter the username "bombayologist" and password
"urbanmedia". Please don't distribute this password -- ask people to
subscribe to this list first and they'll get access.
While the Urban South Asia workshop has not met at MIT for almost two
years, in the meantime many people have subscribed to this list. Please
feel free to introduce yourselves, share links to your work, and suggest
ideas for future collaborations!
Thanks,
Shekhar
