[Urban South Asia] Meetings on 14 and 28 May

Dear All:

My apologies to all for the confusion regarding the last session, which
was postponed twice and met briefly last week. 

We have two more books on the list for this semester, and our last two
meetings are on Wedneday 14 May, when we will discuss Swati
Chattopadhyay's Representing Calcutta and Wednesday 28 May, when we will
discuss Janaki Nair's The Promise of the Metropolis. 

So we shall meet next on WEDNESDAY 14 May from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m. in MIT
E51-185, and the link to Representing Calcutta is up at
http://bombayology.net As usual, please let me know if you plan to
come.
