We will meet WEDNESDAY 26 MARCH 2008 from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m. in MIT
E51-195 to discuss Sandip Hazareesingh's The Colonial City and the
Challenge of Modernity: Urban Hegemonies and Civic Contestations in
Bombay City 1900-1925.

of the book, which I have digitized. There is also a piece by Preeti
Chopra which Nikhil suggested, and two earlier articles by Hazareesingh
which comprise chapters of the book and are included here for reference.
