Dear all:
I would be happy to give a paper at the May 12th workshop on Puttaparti;the
sacred Sai city and pilgrimage center, if the opportunity is still open. It
would be titled: "Can Heaven Wait?: Space, Affect and Power in the
Transnational Sathya Sai Sacred City".
Thanks so much..
Tulasi

All~
Sorry it has taken me a little while to respond - I have been busy with some
other things and under the weather. In any case, I will definitely give a
paper for the May 2th workshop. I will present a piece on the question of
sovereignty over space in late princely Hyderabad, incorporating questions
of legal jurisdiction from the late nineteenth century onwards and the
ultimate rendition of colonial possessions in Hyderabad and Secunderabad to
the Nizam.
I see that most of the list members have not responded as yet. I, along
with Shekhar, urge you to write a quick note to the list or to
one of us letting us know if you are interested in participating.
Then we can proceed with arrangements for the one-day workshop event. Hope
to hear from you.
