Scientific Visualization - Viz3D/SGI Demo at MIT - 2/5
Scientific visualization has proven to be an effective tool for discovery.
As a result of advances in technology, large-screen stereographic
visualization is now available, and affordable, for research and education
in the classroom and lecture hall. SGI and Professor Nicola Marzari
(Department of Materials Science and Engineering) invite you to attend a
demonstration of the use of 3-Dimensional/Interactive stereo models in an
instructional environment using an SGI Onyx4 Graphics server and Viz3D
technology.
Arrangements have been made for the demonstration in The Grier Room, 34-401,
