TLDR: Travel Grant Applications open on Friday. Laundry Reimbursements for the rest of undergrads in grad dorms, houses, and independent living groups.  Free Food Friday next Friday at 3pm. Concord Market opening next week!

It's us again!

Last week, the UA Officer Team was pleased to announce a major initiative to provide free laundry for a month to all students in dorms with Institute laundry machines (roughly 78% of all undergrads). Thanks to additional funding, we’re excited to expand this program towards students who do not live in undergraduate housing with Institute laundry machines. More details to follow!

Travel Grants


We know there’s been some confusion, so we want to clarify things! As part of the UA’s ongoing commitment to support the MIT undergraduate community, we’re pleased to offer MIT undergraduates the opportunity to apply for the UA Travel Grant. We've secured $40,000 in funding to provide up to $1,000 per student to attend professional or academic conferences.

We hope this grant will enhance your undergraduate experience beyond MIT’s campus. Detailed information can be found on the UA website. The application opens at noon this Friday.

Concord Market

After much anticipation, we’re thrilled to announce that Concord Market is officially opening next Tuesday, March 11! We’ve been working hard to bring back an on-campus grocery option to make student life a little easier, and we’re so happy to see it finally happening. Stay tuned for more details on hours and offerings! And if you have feedback let us know!

On the Horizon

As is our tradition, we'll be giving out free boba and Canes next Friday (Pi Day!) to help you power through midterms and get ready for Spring Break! Join us for our quarterly F^3 (Free Food Friday) in Stud 4 at 3pm. Stop by, say hi, and let us know what's on your mind.
